Attitudes In Reverse® (AIR™) Honors J. Robert Bratman, Esq.,

as Champion of Hope

PRINCETON, NEW JERSEY (October 8, 2018) – Attitudes In Reverse® (AIR™), a Princeton-based nonprofit organization, will honor J. Robert Bratman, Esq., Shareholder, Stark & Stark, Attorneys at Law, with a Champion of Hope award during its third annual Taste of Hope fundraising event on October 30, 2018 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Princeton Marriott at Forrestal, 100 College Road East, Princeton, NJ. In addition to honoring Bratman for his leadership in the mental healthcare field, the affair is designed to build awareness of AIR and support its mission of saving lives through mental-health and suicide prevention education.

“Robert is a good person. He does a lot in the community to help people and he has done a lot to support our family. His family has done a lot for AIR,” said Tricia and Kurt Baker, Co-Founders of AIR.

“I am extremely impressed by the whole family’s commitment to turn the loss of their loved one, Kenny Baker into something that would help other persons and families. Where many people would withdraw, this remarkable family vowed to do all in their power to educate the public about mental illness and suicide so that the tragedy they suffered may be prevented in other’s lives,” Bratman said.

“Being honored by AIR is an opportunity for me to serve my community by raising money for this great cause. I believe in AIR’s mission and I know that the Bakers are 110% dedicated to fulfilling the goals of this organization. I am honored and proud that they have chosen me to assist them in their crusade to save lives,” he added.

Bratman is certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Certified Civil Trial Attorney. As a member of Stark & Stark’s Accident & Personal Injury Group, he represents individuals who have been catastrophically injured and the families of individuals who were killed due to the negligence of others.

Bratman is a past member of the Executive Board of the Boy Scouts of America, George Washington Council, where he served as the chairperson of Sustaining Membership Fundraising. He also founded and ran an Explorers post in law at Stark & Stark. He is a prior member of the Bill Bradley Young Citizen Awards Committee. He served as board member and secretary of the Chapin School Board of Trustees. He sat on the Tulane University Central New Jersey Admissions Committee. Mr. Bratman also served as a board member of Hope for the Animals, a no-kill, nonprofit dog and cat rescue organization. He currently sits on the advisory board for the Crossings Animal Sanctuary, a nonprofit animal protection organization whose goal is to build a no-kill animal sanctuary.

“The Taste of Hope Event is a fabulous affair that brings the movers and shakers of our community together and educates them about mental illness and suicide. When influential people become more aware of a serious problem, they can use their resources, both financial and otherwise to reduce and hopefully one day eradicate this terrible taker of lives,” Bratman said.

The Taste of Hope event is sponsored by AIR Sponsor: Stark & Stark; Faith Sponsors: Robert Bratman, Esq., Fly High Colby, Jude Bratman, Eric Poe from NJ PURE and Princeton Brain & Spine; Dignity Sponsors: Leary Bride Mergner and Bongiovanni, P.A. and Szaferman Lakind; Love Sponsors: Beato Chiropractic, Anna Bittner, Cynthia Bratman, Creative Capital, Hinkle Fingles & Prior, Gary Hofing, Merlin Industries, New Jersey Association of Mental Health and Addiction Agencies, Provident Bank, Albert Stark, Esq. and US-1 Courier Services.
